I looked for ages for the perfect WordPress review template…

At the time I didn’t know HTML, therefore I needed a theme that’s already laid out the way I liked it. How do you find that, and how do you know which one is right for SEO ?

There are three ways you can get a wordpress based review template, each with its own degree of ease of use and cost.  As you might imagine, the easier a theme is to use, the more it costs, with a few exceptions.

On the upper end, you can get a custom made theme.  This will generally cost you about $500+, but you get a theme that looks exactly the way you want it.  It certainly will save you time and effort in getting the work done , but you’ll still have to wait to get it.  If you’re just starting out, the price may be too high also.

The least expensive option is to download a free theme from wordpress.org and customize it.  This will require a good knowledge of HTML, CSS stylesheets, and working with PHP files.  But if you’re computer savvy, you can probably do this in a few hours or so.  If you’re not, you can teach yourself all you need to know, but you can expect that to take several weeks or even more. This is time that you’re not earning money and your site is not improving in the search ranks at all.

The best option is to get yourself  a ready made wordpress based review template.  If you can find one that you can easily customize, you have a theme you can use across several review sites.  Also look for one with one on one support, which will help you if you run into any difficulties.

Most of these WordPress based review template themes will cost between $70-$100.  Fortunately, I’ve stumbled across one that’s priced much less, yet includes the above requirements.  With this theme, I change the header, layout, and colors easily.  It also includes a selection of stock photos so I don’t have to hunt those down and pay for them.  Interested?
