I must be honest when you mention networking to me a year ago I’d cringe

I had in my mind an image of cold hand shakes and transparent smiles. However as a Internet Marketers we must embrace networking, web 2.0 and all else that comes with it.

In reality I needn’t have been so worried. As a work at home dad networking has become a way of keeping up with business colleagues and folks with a similar mindset, and being part of a group.

Just as importantly networking has become a way of staying in contact with friends too web 2.0 is all about that whole concept of keeping up with others and sharing information.

Talking about sharing info there are so many platforms these days. There’s “what are you doing” Twitter absolutely great for quick 1 liners and you can even find other twitterers with the same interests  as you. you just type in a relevant keyword inti the search box,  and whoopee there you have a list of folks you can almost call kin.

I’m not adverse to the odd tweet either, come follow me

But that’s just 1 social group and if you wanted to let all say 20 of your platforms know whazz up what would you do?  Spend a couple of hours  surfing and updating … what a waste of  valuable time that would be. So if you want to just drop a quick update to a lot of social group platforms (that include your twitter, facebook, myspace or any other) hellotxt is great. One post and ump teen blogs and profiles know about it. and it’s all free too.

But there is other players in the (keep updated and spread the word) world of blogging platforms which definitely aids  Internet and affiliate marketers.

I’m only recently finding sites like condron.us and alphainvensions now popping in to say hello.  It’s worth having a look there too.  It works as if you were sitting in front of the TV and channel hopping, on the screen you see the blogs that have just been updated you get about 2 seconds of a blog on a the screen and if your interested  you just click and read it. It’s proving to be rather cool I got over 150 hits from alphainventions for the Wealthy Affiliate for $1 post …
