Does everyone that attempts to become an Internet Marketer succeed? No, in fact approximately 90% of all Internet Marketers fail. Why is this? I have given this a lot of thought and come up with a few answers as to why so many people fail when trying to become a successful Internet Marketer.

Internet Marketing is like any other business – it requires a lot of work. People that get into Internet Marketing may think that it is the “easy street” to success and wealth, but this is far from the truth. There are many programs that “entice” people to sign-up with the thought that they will be able to “get rich quick”.

Well, I can tell you from experience, if you are not willing to think and work hard, whether it be a retail business or an Internet Marketing business, chances are very good that your business will not flourish to its full potential, often times not succeeding at all. If you are willing to dedicate a bit of time to this then you are that much more likely to become successful within any business, especially Internet Marketing.

Another reason that many people fail is because they don’t understand who their customers are. The problem is many new advertisers’ set-up a web page or campaign trying to deliver the wrong audience the wrong product. Image trying to sell lemonade to someone on a snowy day in Chicago? This is same mistake many new marketers are making by not targeting their audience. They are spending their time and money with no return.

Having the ability to connect with your customers and determine what they want is a key to becoming a successful Internet Marketer. What does the customer really want? In essence, you are a customer yourself so this should be very easy.

There are proven success techniques and strategies that can give you the upper hand to become part of the 10% that do become successful. In fact, there is one back that will help you eliminate your competition and learn the best advertising techniques. It is called “Beating Adwords”, and if you have it in your library, you are much more likely to succeed. Starting out as a new marketer with no knowledge of the industries or how to make the Internet your profit engine is one thing. Starting out with a solid Internet Marketing foundation that consists of valuable Internet Marketing techniques and strategies is a formula for success.

Get yourself a good resource to build your foundation, and then begin building your business using the strategies that you have learned. Internet Marketing is not difficult and with a little work and some creative thinking you can make some great profits online.

Think all “make money online” programs are pants…

If your like me your probably thinking “I’ve tried that” when ever anyone talks about new making money online stuff.

I was on facebook not so long ago and chatting to an old work colleague. He asked me what I was doing now and I told him that I was trying my hand at affiliate marketing, his first response was “not like that pyramid s rubbish is it?”

( It sounded like he’d tried all that before)

Sure enough he had a bad ‘buy-in’ to a MLM scam out there some way along the line, he now assumed all internet business were scams! Well they ain’t and there a lot of place’s where you can look to check if the make money online programs are scams.

Needness to say I didn’t spend too much time talking to him about internet marketing techniques!

An old friend once said worry about the things you can change not the things you can’t, I take that approach with online marketing. It’s the same old story as you’ll find in most walks of life. “You get out what you put in” I can alter my result’s greatly with a little more elbow grease and that is what most newbie’s don’t realise. It’s not a making money online  rip off

ie: I was a retail expert for many years, Within a business of four walls altering a process or a system, you’d expect to be able to measure an increase in the KPI result’s (key performance indicator’s)  in 90 day’s, that’s 3 months. online I can alter a process and see results within hours!
