Think all “make money online” programs are pants…

If yur like me your probably thinking “I’ve tried that” when ever anyone talks about new making money onine stuff.

I was on facebook not so long ago and chatting to an old work colleague. He asked me what I was doing now and I told him that I was tryiny my hand at affiliate marketing, his first response was “not like that pyramid s rubbish is t?”

( It sounded like he’d tried all that before)

Sure enough he had a bad ‘buy-in’ to a MLM scam out there some way along the line, he now assumed all internet business were scams! Well they ain’t and there a lot of place’s where you can look to check if the make money online programs are scams.

An old friend once said worry about the things you can change not the things you can’t, I take that approach with online marketing. It’s the same old story as you’ll find in most walks of life. “You get out what you put in” I can alter my result’s greatly with a litle more elbow grease and that is what most newbie’s don’t realise. It was 02.40am the time the an eager newbie has to contemplate turning in for the night. I wasn’t at my best, I’d been reading and learning and trying to implement what the 8week was tasking me to.

I’d hit a massive hurdle with week 4 and just was not savvy enough to get a web page up, All my focus was with the basic squid now and articles…..A but upset that I STILL had not seen any cash, I thought I would just go and have a check at what’s in clickbank.

I arrived at the familiar blue and white.. (now revamped)  “Then I noticed”

Oh there is a tab that I didn’t really investigate properly (it says My Account) I click and I see $235 on the left my eyes pop & my mouth begins to curl. Its started. I CAN’T believe it, I let out a triumphant yelp. aware that I really don’t want to wake the kids.

I sneak into bed head buzzing with excitement, looking forward to becoming a REAL IM when I say “real” I mean one that actually makes money. I’ve been down the road with crap programs too many times and made not 1 penny…….and finally dose off.

In the morning I email the news via a page clip of my account to my Captain, Marcus “That geezer is the dogs”…he emails me back and to my shock is talking about the $500+ that I’ve made!! I don’t even know how to read my account I was making money two weeks ago!……I tell ya It’s beginning to hurt, how do I stop Grinning…?

Keep going peeps…. now I ain’t stopping …On completion of the 8 week I had already $897

What you do in with your spare time counts. Instead of watching Dancing With The Stars you should be building your wealth. Make the most of your time. Most people just see the end result and do not see all the work, effort and heartbreaking struggles the pros go through. The key is repetition. Also do not be afraid of making mistakes, just learn from your mistakes.

Another key to your passport to wealth is finding successful people to learn from. This may sound harsh but ditch your loser friends and hang around successful proven winners. You become who you hang around with. Let’s say you begin to hang around a friend who whines all the time about how unfair the world is to him, I guarantee within a few weeks you will be doing the same thing. But the same goes if you begin to hang around a successful business person. So find great people to learn internet marketing techniques with.

So overall your main passport to wealth is yourself. What habits do you have? How do you feel about yourself? Do you feel you deserve to be wealthy? Are you the type who gets things done or makes excuse after excuse? So instead of looking everywhere on the Internet for your passport to wealth, just look in the mirror.

You are your own passport to wealth and no one can tell you other wise. Remember there is no free ride in this world. You must earn everything in this world and you must have the right tools in order to succeed in your business. If you do not have the right tools and mindset then you will fail no matter what any company promises you. So you are your own passport to wealth and don’t let any company tell you any other.

For Internet marketing however, the best advice is really to  “follow the problem.” The most effective online products are those that solve problems.

How to break into Internet marketing. How to lose weight. How to avoid foreclosure in a down market, How to stop the dog from barking.  These are problems that drive people in droves to search engines desperately seeking answers.

So how do you know what people want and need to know?

You have to research and listen into the online conversations in your niche. Start with keyword research for your topic. Check in with Google Labs and find out what the trend of online interest is based on up to the minute searches. Over days or weeks, you’ll soon get an eye for it and will see when the trend shifts and when a new hot topic rises.

Don’t be ‘longing it out’, get involved learn some internet marketing techniques. You can make up a different name – just be sure that you add value to what’s being said in the conversation. Nothing will get you kicked out from a forum quicker than showing up with a sales pitch instead of being a active participant.

If you find that there’s a product to address the problem, buy it take a really good look at it. What could you do to improve, simplify, expand on.

Is it too cheap and vague? That’s your cue to add more quality content and substance, get endorsements from folks willing to review your products and position yourself as the authority and your product as the premium solution.
